Funniest Wedding Pictures Ever!!!

I hit a lull while working today and I thought "I need something to lift my spirits up". I decided to approach my good friend Google images to look at pictures of different features of wedding dresses to inspire my design efforts. I came across a few pictures that I thought were really funny and now I am writing this quick post to share some of them. Let me know which one you thought was the funniest. Here goes...

"Oh get on with it, lets get to the eating part of this shindig"

" Grope me all you want now buster. That's what you'll be missing since you decided to marry her"

"Ooops, there goes the wild wedding night I had all planned out"

"Lets embarrass them for making us come to this dumb event"

"I am never going to kiss anyone in my life. Its so gross" We'll revisit this in 10 years

"I always wanted to marry the really long legged type"

"I'm not ddrruunnkk at all, jjjjjust tipsy"

"Check out the bazookas on the one I bagged. Not a boob job in sight"

"Ooh, that feels nice. Are they real?"

"Such a bad idea to get married on the same day as another thousand couples. I think my bride is in a coma"

Geronimo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Gosh, Limos are so not overrated"
Let me know which one you think is funniest and I hope this lifts up your spirits as it did mine.

Many blessings,

Lisa xxxx

The Perfect Wedding Cake!

 Cakes
your wedding cake is a small but classically significant part of your day. As the traditional symbol of the beginning of sharing the rest of your lives together, the cutting of the cake is a much anticipated part of your wedding ceremony- so picking the right cake for you is going to be an important part of your preparations.

Be creative
Use as many different sources as you can for inspiration for your cake. Take pictures to suppliers if you've found something you like-or make a sketch, if you've a specific idea in your head.
Be creative and use shapes, motifs, fabrics or decorations for your wedding cake such as as flowers from your bouquet, fabric matching your dress or decorations which match your theme. A good wedding cake supplier should be able to advise you on the best choices, both aesthetically and practically.

Booking
Give yourself 8-10 months before your wedding to source and order your wedding cake. good wedding cake suppliers will get very busy in peak seasons, so be sure to book your favourite early enough.

Budget savvy
If you've found the perfect design for a cake, but having it made for 120+ guests is going to have some unsavory ramifications on your budget, ask your cake-maker to downsize the size of the cake and to supply a 'kitchen cake'. This comes as a standard sheet cake, with the same coloured icing-your guests will never know the difference!

Cake stand & knife
Ask whether your cake supplier will provide a cake stand and knife, if not, make sure that your wedding breakfast venue has a good cake stand and cake knife. it's one of the smaller details that you don't want to forget.

Compare Suppliers
Meet at least 3 wedding cake suppliers that way you'll have 3 sets of prices, designs and personalities to compare. You'll need to consider all factors when making a decision.

Coordination
When when choosing your cake, think about the overall theme, colours and mood of your wedding day. It'll be the centre of attention when it comes to cutting it, so you'll want it to do you proud.

Delivery
If possible, opt for your cake to be delivered by your supplier-it's one less stress for you to have to worry about on your wedding day. just ensure that the delivery charge is included in your final quote.

Different Flavours
Although traditional, not everyone likes fruit cake,so consider other fillings for each cake tier. Your cake designer should be able to advise you on popular choices and how best to layer the cake.

Formal or Informal
For a very traditional and formal wedding, a white or cream cake is often best suited to more informal affairs.

Tasting Sessions!
When sourcing your wedding cake supplier, make sure you have fun tasting their wars! And take some home for your fiance if he's not with you... if it makes the car journey home!
