Celebrity Wedding Look Series: 10 Celebrity Wedding Hairstyles

Its common knowledge that a typical celebrity will never attend an important occasion without being vetoed and certified head to toe by expert and very well paid stylists.  Now imagine how much more thought and deliberation goes into a typical celebrity's entire look on their wedding day.

I would imagine that they would be attended to by a huge army of designers and stylists to deal with dress, shoes, hair, jewellery, make-up, underwear and even teeth, nails and skincare.  This is quite simply the reason why they get their event looks so right and attain the style many of us dream of but just do not know how to put together or pull off.

Our 'Celebrity Wedding Dresses to Inspire You' post was so successful and viewed so many times, we have decided to have a Celebrity Wedding Look Series over the next few weeks to show what the celebrities' preferences were for various aspects of their wedding style.

Wedding Reception in a Gorgeous Marquee... Lots of Ideas in Pictures plus Spotlight on Chelsea Hire Marquees

To celebrate our attendance of the MK (Milton Keynes) Marquee Wedding Fair on the 23rd of September 2012, we have decided to feature Marquee wedding receptions in this week's post. The Wedding Fair has been organised by Silver Linings and Chelsea Hire and would feature exhibitions by 20 exclusive wedding suppliers to delight and inform you for your big day; Estilo Moda, being one of them. Click Here to find more details about the wedding fair.

Marquees can be erected in any location where there is adequate space and the possibilities for decorating them are endless.  I have been to many marquee weddings where the atmosphere felt very classy and luxurious but of course like anything else in life, some effort has to be put into achieving this as unlike in a castle where the venue is impressive already, your marquee decor could either make or break the entire setting of your wedding reception.

I have learnt so much about wedding marquees by researching the amazing work of Chelsea Hire Marquees.  They really do go the distance to help you achieve the look that you are after and they demonstrate the versatility of using a Marquee for your wedding by providing endless decor options to suit your theme; be it a daytime or night time reception.

A picture speaks a thousand words and so I will leave you with some pictures I have borrowed from their website:

Do meet us at the wedding fair and get 10% off your total order plus see a sneak preview of a few pieces from our pilot wedding dress collection.

Client Testimonial and Lots of Real Wedding Pictures... Be Inspired

We just received wedding pictures from our darling Aine, whose wedding dress we created in a 50s style.  The first time Aine walked into our Milton Keynes based studio with her lovely sister, I thought 'what a wonderful lady'.  We hit it off immediately. We agreed to use a pale ivory, soft duchess satin fabric for Aine's beautiful bespoke off shoulder, ruched bodice and full skirted wedding dress and she looked amazing; if we do say so ourselves.  This is what Aine had to say:

"The dress was beautiful – exactly what I'd hoped for – and I got so many compliments on the day. I felt absolutely gorgeous in it. The style worked perfectly with the other bridesmaids' dresses and our 1950s/60s era hairstyles. We all felt very 'Mad Men'! And the day itself was wonderful – the kind of day you'd like to sneak back for an hour or two and relive! So much fun, and worth all the stresses. Thanks again for all your help and for giving me the dress I was dreaming of. I know for sure that I wouldn't have been able to find it in an average bridal shop, and certainly not in my budget!"

Enjoy pictures of her wedding dress and be inspired not only by her dress but also by other pictures of her perfectly executed 50s style wedding.  Let us know what you think.
